Why are some dishes packaged in pouches and others in boxes?

Our dishes are produced and packaged differently depending on the recipe. The most important difference lies in the type and amount of sauce.

Most dishes contain what are known as sauce pellets. This means the sauce is added in portions as a frozen component. This makes preparation easier and ensures even distribution when heating. We package these dishes in our practical, space-saving pouches made from monomaterial.

Some dishes, on the other hand, contain a sauce dollop. This is usually the case with recipes that have less or creamier sauce. For production reasons, these dishes are filled into boxes.

You can always tell whether a dish comes in a box by looking directly at the product image in the bottom right corner.
